During this session, participants will be introduced to the Bee-Bot. Bee-Bots are a programmable robot designed for young children. Children can design maps and roads and then program the Bee-Bot to take a route. The Bee-Bots can also be used across the curriculum and utilized in Language Arts to be programed to spell out words on a mat. Maps, roads and other interactive mats are available to extend learning. Bee-Bots can be used in whole group, small groups and learning stations. During this session participants will learn how to program a Bee-Bot and how to use this robot in a classroom.
